You write by hand and the computer translates your written characters to typed text on the screen. In theory, handwriting recognition should free us from our keyboards, allowing us to write and draw in a more natural way. It is considered one of the key technologies that will determine the ultimate success or failure of the PDA (Personal Digital Assistant hand held computer).

I like GOOGLE. Sometimes I use YAHOO. The first one is fast, efficient and brings back individual sites. The second one returns categories that lead you to what you are looking for. But when I'm really serious about finding something on the web, I use a paid program called Copernic 2000 Pro. It's great cause it allows you to search with many very focused search engines at once and then collates the results so that repeats are eliminated. If you want more info on Copernic, email me.

The design and application is also elegant in its simplicity. You download Napster as you would any application, walk through the nearly automatic installation, and start.

Being part of the Napster community is like being in a giant record store with an inventory that changes every minute. You never know what you'll find. That's a big part of what's become an addiction for many. Try it, you'll like it!
