Today's A video format for displaying full-length digital movies. A number of manufacturers are selling DVD-Video players, which attach to a television just like a videocassette player. Additionally, DVD CD ROM players are available for computers. The Digital-Video format includes a Content Scrambling System (CSS) to prevent users from copying discs. This means that, despite the arrival of the new DVD-R (recordable) computer CD ROM drives, it will not be possible to make a copy of the DVD movie CD disc. P.S. - Keep your eye on the computer geeks cause they've already found a way to do it but are under court order not to disseminate the info. |

A reader asks...
Q. "Yesterday's PIC looked like a drawing or cartoon. Is it a real photo?"
(CLICK to enlarge... BACK to return)
A. It Sure is. It's a picture of two week old Michael. His Grandpa took the photo and I applied special effects to it. The result is a "cartoon" image.
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE...
His qualifications as a math teacher didn't add up.

Find Files Fast
Have you ever downloaded a program, only to find you weren't paying attention to where it was being stored? Have you lost a copy of a crucial document or resume?
Chances are that they are still on your hard drive. Without spending precious time to investigate each folder on your system, you can quickly uncover those lost files in no time at all.
To find files fast, follow these steps:
1. Hold down the Windows keyboard button and the "F" button at the same time, or
click on the Start menu and locate "Find" (in Windows ME it's
"Search") then "Files or Folders."
2. In the "Name" field, type the name of the file you'd like to find (or any part of the name).
3. In the "Look In" field, select "My Computer."
4. Hit "Find now."
5. This will bring up a list of all the files on your computer containing the text that you had typed.
Happy hunting.
